These are for you Stevildo!

.........So, since we moved, I have been horrible about keeping this blog up-to-date and our friend, Steve, has been asking me to post pictures of the new abode since October - WhOPSiE!!!

Here it is February and I am finally fulfilling your request, Steve, but as you know, I have always been a little slow at things! :-)

This is the first thing you see when you walk in the front door. Our living area....we are still working on getting furniture for this area.

A view out our front window......

A view from standing in the kitchen looking into the living room.
Then turn around and VOILA! Here's the galley kitchen.
Bathroom off of the kitchen and next to the bedrooms.

A view of the back yard........

Let's head upstairs to the messy loft.....

Now downstairs to the "MAN CAVE!" ......

Where many nerd games shall be played.......
and TIVOed shows watched.......
..... with a bathroom all their own.

....only steps away from the couch.

Bon Voyage Paul and Kim!!!

On December 28th we drove up to Chicago, caravan style, with Mike, Paul and Kim so we could see Paul and Kim off at the airport as they began their six week Asian Trek.

We can't wait to hear all about their stories and see pictures when they get back! Have fun!!

Christmas Day 2008

......Slobbery, who me?!

Christmas morning we woke up with a few slobbery kisses from Miss B and hearing that Paul and Kim were on their way... dinner would be around 3pm so the cooking in the kitchen began.

I don't remember what this was, but I am sure it was really good!

Joel helping his mom in the kitchen, what a guy!

Michael, the middle brother, took pride in taking out the gizzards.
Way to go Mike!

As everyone else was in the kitchen, Bailey and I were enjoying the music and ambiance in the living room.

Then ..... I taunted her to open a present......

....and Joel joined in too. Bailey loves opening presents.... what dog doesn't, right?

Oh Look! It was a Monkey in the bag!! Let's keep the arms attached Bailey!

We took a break from the morning to sit on Santa Joel's lap and tell him all of our hopes and dreams.

Karen provided us with great themes this Christmas.... (once I find the "quotes" she gave us in our "To File" pile.... I will fill those in here.)

Nerd games were played....
beer was consumed.....

.... and Emma won our hearts oh so soon!

Scotch and merriment were had by all.....Our 2008 Christmas turned out to be a BALL!

Christmas Eve 2008

We then celebrated Christmas Eve after a beautiful candle-lit service at Karen's beautiful abode!! It was complete with amazing desserts and the fabulous "slush" that Joel's mom provides every year!!! Hmmmmmm...... and that was just the beginning of the great food for days to come.

Christmas with the Koepps!!!

We arrived the 23rd after a nine hour drive. Bailey, the family Irish Terrier was so thrilled by our arrival, she needed a nap. :-)
